Deirdre Flint: Home
Deadbeat boobfairies! Homicidal Bridesmaids! The Great Metric Threat of 75! The Epcot Center! Maury Povich as a substitute for Zoloft!
These are the oddities you'll meet at a Deirdre Flint concert. She's been performing for about eight years and sings humorous tunes about life's little disappointments and occasionally life's little victories. Occasionally, she'll throw in a serious tune like "Grandma's House," a story/song about the best grandma in the whole wide world. Well, alright, your grandma and her grandma are tied for number one.
Deirdre's played The Kennedy Center and has been won both the Kerrville and Falcon Ridge Folk Festival new artist award.
Her music has been heard on TLC's A Dating Story, TLC's documentary "Always a Bridesmaid," Adam Curry's Daily Source Code, The World Cafe, Australia's "A Current Affair," and BBC's "The Reclaimers."
In 2005, Deirdre "made the team" and became a member of The Four Bitchin' Babes. The other three are Sally Fingerett, Debi Smith and Nancy Moran. These four ladies travel the country and sing about babes, boys and botox. Deirdre holds down the low end, playing the bass in the band.
They have recently released their newest album entitled, "Hormonal Imbalance: A Mood Swinging Musical Review."
